The Harrisburg Senators split a doubleheader with the Richmond Flying Squirrels Saturday night at the Diamond. The Squirrels captured game one 8-6 while the Senators won game two of the twin bill 2-1.

Juan Soto put the Senators in front in game one with a first inning RBI single off Richmond starter Jordan Johnson.
After Senators starter Logan Darnell began the game with a pair of scoreless frames, the Squirrels took the lead in the third on a two-run home run by Ronnie Jebavy.
Richmond remained ahead 2-1 until the top of the fifth when the Senators retook the lead. With Osvaldo Abreu and Daniel Johnson on base on a walk and single respectively, Kelvin Gutierrez reached on an infield single which allowed both runners to score. The next batter, Soto, laced a double to center to put the Senators in front 4-2.
The lead was short lived as Richmond scored six runs in the bottom of the frame. After a sacrifice fly and RBI single, Jeff Arnold and Dillon Dobson hit back-to-back home runs, with Arnold's a three-run shot, to give Richmond an 8-4 advantage.
The Senators cut the lead in half with a pair of runs in the sixth on a run-scoring triple by Osvaldo Abreu and sacrifice fly by Stephen Perez.
The Senators put the tying run on base in the seventh but reliever Caleb Simpson retired the side to notch his seventh save and seal the 8-6 win.
Darnell (2-2) was charged with five runs on seven hits over four and a third innings as he suffered his second loss of the season. Johnson (5-3) picked up the win despite giving up four runs over five innings.
The Senators opened the scoring in game two against Richmond starter Garrett Williams when Taylor Gushue hit his first Double-A triple to plate Kelvin Gutierrez and put the Senators ahead 1-0 in the first.
Richmond answered with their only run of the game in the bottom of the frame when Aramis Garcia knocked an RBI double off Senators starter Brady Dragmire.
The Senators retook the lead with a run in the fourth on an run-scoring single by Khayyan Norfork to go up 2-1.
Dragmire (3-2) allowed just the one run on five hits while striking out four and walking none across five and two-thirds innings. Williams (1-3) allowed a pair of runs on three hits over his four innings.
The Flying Squirrels put the tying run at second in the seventh, but Derek Self struck out Garcia to cement the 2-1 victory and notch his fourth save.
