A

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair and companion seating is located down the Third Base Line and is available by purchasing a General Admission Ticket. Please reference the Municipal Stadium Map for the location.  

Advanced Tickets

Tickets to upcoming San Jose Giants games at Municipal Stadium can be purchased a number of ways:

  • Online: SJGiants.com
  • In Person: Tickets can be purchased at our Stadium Box Office located at 588 East Alma Ave, San Jose, CA 95112.
  • By Phone: Tickets can be purchased by calling 408.297.1435. 

Alcohol Sales

Guests are prohibited from bringing alcoholic beverages into the stadium. Guests who appear to be under the age of 30 will be required to show valid identification. No guest will be served more than two alcoholic beverages at any given time. Alcohol sales end at the conclusion of the 7th inning during a baseball game and at designated times during concerts and other events.

Animals

Only certified service dogs or service dogs in training that meet all of the State of California requirements will be allowed into Municipal Stadium. All other animals are prohibited. The only exception to this rule is on pet promotional days such a Pups in the Park. More Pups in the Park information HERE. 

ATMs

Two (2) ATM Machines are available at Municipal Stadium. They are each located in the Concourse at the Main Entrance.

Autographs

Players and coaches are prohibited from signing autographs during the games, beginning when the umpires enter the field. Fans may acquire autographs prior to or following the game. Please be courteous and respectful to the players and coaches as well as guests possessing tickets in autograph areas. If you are seeking autographs in a seating section other than your own, you may be asked to proceed to your designated seating section.

Bag Search

All bags are subject to search upon entry and within the ballpark. Prohibited items should be disposed of in trash containers or returned to one's vehicle. See "Prohibited Items". 

Banners and Signs

Banners or signs may be displayed at Municipal Stadium as long as they do not interfere with the game in progress and they do not obstruct the view of other guests in the area. Banners may not contain political or commercial messages or display inappropriate words or phrases. The San Jose Giants and Municipal Stadium reserve the right to remove any banners or signs at their discretion.

Bathrooms

Stadium restrooms are located in the main concourse, along the first base side and along the left field side beyond the City National Futures Club. Please refer to the Municipal Stadium Map

Batting Practice

Gates open one hour before game time allowing guests to view infield practice for the San Jose Giants and their opponent. Be sure to arrive as soon as the gates open and catch all the pre-game action. Unfortunately, San Jose Giants batting practice occurs over three hours before the game, well before gates open.

Behavior

San Jose Giants baseball is a family-oriented experience, so we ask that the behavior of our fans be in accordance with this atmosphere. Therefore, the use of disruptive and vulgar language or gestures is prohibited. Furthermore, fans may be asked to leave the ballpark without refund if they are wearing clothing or possess signs with obscene or derogatory words or messages. If your enjoyment of visiting the ballpark is being interrupted by the behavior of another fan, please contact ballpark security, an usher or guest relations staff member so the situation can be corrected immediately.

Beverages, Bottles and Cans

The San Jose Giants restrictions prohibit the entrance of outside food, beverages, bottles, and cans into its facilities. Exceptions include unopened, soft-sided water bottles, baby formula, baby food, and medication or other special needs.

Birthdays

Municipal Stadium is the perfect place for birthday celebrations of all ages. Enjoy discounted tickets, birthday treats and a special video board birthday message. For more information visit the Giants Birthday Page or contact the Giants front office. 

Birthday/Anniversary Video Board Messages

The San Jose Giants can help celebrate a birthday or anniversary by displaying the occasion on our scoreboard during the game. The service is $50 per announcement on the video board. Messages must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the designated game.

Camera and Video Equipment

Guests are welcome to bring still and hand-held video cameras with lenses 6" or smaller into Municipal Stadium as long as the equipment does not interfere with another guest's enjoyment of the game. Guests wishing to use equipment that requires the use of a tri-pod at a fixed position in the stadium must contact the San Jose Giants staff for permission. Any rebroadcast or reproduction of the game or the event without the express written consent of the San Jose Giants is prohibited.

Child Ticket Policy

Children four years of age and under do not need a ticket for entry into Municipal Stadium. However, they must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult or in General Admission. Children five years of age and older must have a ticket to the game or event.

Code of Conduct

The San Jose Giants are committed to providing our guests with an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. Our staff will proactively intervene to support a family oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the baseball experience free from the following behaviors:

  • Foul or abusive language or gestures.
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment.
  • Displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting.
  • Any disruption to the game by guest actions or an unauthorized personn on the playing field.
  • Guests seated in a location other than their ticketed seat.
  • Smoking or tobacco use.

If someone interferes with your enjoyment of a game, please contact a Guest Services Representative for assistance.

Concessions

The San Jose Giants host several fixed and portable concession stands throughout the stadium. These stands feature traditional ballpark favorites such as hot dogs, peanuts, soda and popcorn. In addition to these favorites, there are specialty items such as pizza, barbequed tri-tip, and chicken and rib dinners. The stadium also features a selection of alcoholic beverages, which may be purchased until the end of the 7th inning. 

Credentials

Any member of the media wishing to obtain credentials to a game must submit a written request on company letterhead to Jeff Black, Director of Marketing via email JeffBlack@sjgiants.com or call 408.380.4516 for more information. 

Customer Service

The City National Customer Service Booth is located next to the Main Gate at the front of the stadium. Guest service inquiries, such as stadium announcements and contestant registrations, should be directed to the Customer Service Booth for coordination.

Disabled Guest Service

The Giants strive to foster an environment that accommodates the needs of our disabled guests. There are a limited number of on-site disabled parking spots which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have questions about our disabled parking, please call 408.297.1435. Accessible seating is also available located along the Third Base Line. Please refer to the Municipal Stadium Map. More information on accessible seating HERE.

Drop-Off Zone

There is a drop-off zone located at the main gate to Municipal Stadium on East Alma Avenue.

Exit and Re-entry

Guests may exit the ballpark at any time; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests may only re-enter the stadium after obtaining a re-entry stamp from an attendant located near the exit gates.

Family Fun Zone

The Family Fun Zone is the perfect place for kids and kids at heart. Located by the Main Entrance of the stadium, the Family Fun Zone features inflatable activities such as a speed pitch, big slide, obstacle course and bounce house. Tickets are available for purchase at the City National Customer Service Booth. For unlimited Fun Zone access, join the Gigante's Kids Club

Fan Mail

Cards and letters to players and personnel can be sent to: San Jose Giants, Attn: Player's Name, PO Box 21727, San Jose, CA 95151. 

Please be advised that items sent through the mail to be signed are done so at your own risk. Though reasonable precautions will be taken, the players, management and staff are not responsible if an item is not returned.

Field Access

In accordance with California League rules, only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before, during, or after a game or event. Any unauthorized person who travels onto the field will be removed from Municipal Stadium and subject to arrest and prosecution.

First Aid

The First Aid Station is located behind Home Plate in Section D. If first aid assistance is needed, please go to the First Aid Station or contact the nearest Guest Service Representative.

Foul Balls and Home Runs

Guests may keep any balls hit into the stands. Batted balls can be dangerous, so we ask guests to stay alert at all times. When attempting to catch a foul or home run ball please do not interfere with the game in progress and be respectful of other guests. At no time should a foul or home run ball be thrown back on the field. Guests who fail to adhere to these rules face immediate ejection from the ballpark and will be subject to arrest and prosecution.

Fundraising Double Play

The San Jose Giants Fundraising Double Play is a special, risk-free, fundraising mechanism for organizations of all sizes. Your organization can raise funds and awareness for your cause while also having a fun and affordable night out at Municipal Stadium. Gate Times

Gates open one hour prior to the start of each game aside from July 4. Season Ticket Holders receive 15-minute early access before gates open to the public. 

Giants Dugout Store

The San Jose Giants Dugout Store is the official team store of the San Jose Giants. The Dugout Store is located along the Third Base Side. The Dugout Store Express is located at the front of the stadium at the City National Customer Service Booth. Fans can also shop online 24/7 at SJGiants.com/Shop

Giants Summer Camps

Gigante

Gigante is the Giants fun-loving (and sometimes mischevious) mascot who has been entertaining fans of all ages for years. To book a visit from Gigante or to learn more about our lovable mascot, visit Gigante's Corner.

Group Outings

The San Jose Giants offer a variety of unique experiences for groups of all sizes. Groups can take advantage of exclusive group seating locations such as the Martinelli's VIP Deck, City National Futures Club or First Base Party Patio. Hoverboards

Due to safety issues, hoverboards are prohibited in Municipal Stadium.

Internet Access

Free Internet access is available to any fan that brings a smart phone, laptop, tablet, or other Wi-Fi enabled mobile device to the ballpark. The free wireless internet network is SJGiants-Guest and does not require a password.

Junior Giants

Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, non-competitive program serving youth 5-18 years old, both in the inner cities and rural areas in California, Nevada, and Oregon. Along with the fundamentals of baseball, the leagues stress character development, literacy and healthy living. Visit JuniorGiants.org to find a league near you.

Kids Club

Gigante's Kids Club membership includes: Fun Zone Season Pass, Kids Club Gift, Kids Club T-Shirt, Invitation to Gigante's Birthday Party and more! Membership price for Season Ticket and Mini Plan Holders is $30 and Regular Membership price is $40. For more information on the Kids Club visit the San Jose Giants Kids Club page. 

Kids Run the Bases

The San Jose Giants and Martinelli's have partnered to present Martinelli's Kids Run the Bases. Every Saturday and Sunday, kids are invited down on to the field to run the bases following the game. Kids enter the field from the first base sideand exit the third base side.

Lost and Found

Items found in or around the ballpark during events should be turned into the City National Customer Service Booth located at the front of the stadium. All lost and found items will be tagged and stored for 30 days. Every effort will be made to return the item to its owner. If an item has been stored for 30 days and has not been claimed, it may then be given to charity or otherwise disposed of.

Lost and found items can be picked up at Municipal Stadium during the hours of 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. All calls and questions regarding lost and found should be made to 408.297.1435 or via email at info@sjgiants.com.

Lost Children

Every child should be told to contact a San Jose Giants Representative if he or she becomes lost. A lost child should be taken to the City National Customer Service Booth. If you become separated from your child, please contact the nearest Guest Services Representative or go to the Press Box so that an announcement can be made.

The San Jose Giants Mascot, Gigante, is available for community appearances, walk-a-thons, birthday parties, little league events and more! To learn more about our lovable mascot and how to book him for your next event, visit Gigante's Corner

Media Guide

The San Jose Giants Media Guide provides a historical information about the club, updated player biographies and statistics. The guide can be purchased at the San Jose Giants Dugout Store or at San Jose Giants souvenir stands. 

Merchandise

Official San Jose Giants merchandise can be purchased at The San Jose Giants Dugout Store, located on the third base line at the entrance to the BBQ Area and the Dugout Express in the family fun zone. San Jose Giants Merchandise is also available online at sjgiants.com/shop.

Minor League Affiliates

The San Jose Giants are the Class A Advanced affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. The San Francisco Giants have seven minor league affiliates: Sacramento River Cats - AAA Pacific Coast League, Richmond Flying Squirrels - AA Eastern League, San Jose Giants - (High) A California League, Augusta Green Jackets - (Low) A South Atlantic League, Salem-Keizer Volcanoes - (Rookie) Northwest League, AZL Giants - (Rookie) Arizona League, DSL Giants - (Rookie) Dominican Summer League.

Noisemakers

For the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, noisemakers of any kind (i.e., air horns, etc.) are prohibited at Municipal Stadium.

Heading South on I-280:

  • Take the 10th/11th Street Exit.
  • Turn Right on 10th Street (One-Way).
  • Turn Left on Alma Street (Second Light).
  • Stadium is second building on the Right.

Heading North on I-280:

  • Take the 10th/11th Street Exit.
  • Turn Left on 10th Street (Second Light).
  • Turn Left on Alma Street (Second Light).
  • Stadium is second building on the Right.

Heading South on US-101:

  • Take the Story Road Exit.
  • West towards Municipal Stadium
  • Turn Left on Senter Road (Fourth Light).
  • Turn Right on Alma Street (First Light).
  • Stadium is on the Left.

Heading North on US-101:

  • Take the Tully Road Exit.
  • West towards Municipal Stadium.
  • Turn Right on Senter Road (Third Light).
  • Turn Left on Alma Street (Sixth Light).
  • Stadium is on the Left.

Parking

Stadium parking is available in lots adjacent to the facility. Parking is $10 per space for non-giveaway and non-fireworks games and $15 per space on fireworks nights. The parking lot opens two hours prior to game time. A limited number of on-site Handicapped Parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, in the main parking lot Municipal Stadium.

The San Jose Giants Park Packer Program is perfect for organizations looking to raise funds and awareness for their cause all while having an exciting night out at Municipal Stadium. Pets

Pets are not permitted in the ballpark except for the fans requiring the use of licensed guide/therapy animals. The lone exception is for the Giants Pups in the Park promotion. 

Police and Security

For the safety of our guests, police are on site during all stadium events. If you have an emergency, please contact the nearest Stadium Representative.

Pregame Clinics (Aquafina)

Kids of all ages can learn the fundamentals of baseball from San Jose Giants players during Aquafina Pregame Clinics at Municipal Stadium. Participants will receive expert instruction from Giants players on their way to the big leagues and can then watch them put their words into action during the game that follows. Complimentary admission to an Aquafina Pregame Clinic is included with a game ticket. Programs and Scorecards

Guests may purchase a Program and/or a Scorecard from the program stand at the main entrance to Municipal Stadium. Scorecards are $2 and contain an Insert Sheet with the daily game notes and stats, Bingo Card and a Lucky Number for your chance to win great prizes throughout the game. The Souvenir Program is $5 and features the latest San Jose Giants news and information.

Prohibited Items

In the interest of guest safety and enjoyment at Municipal Stadium, management reserves the right to prevent certain items from being brought into Municipal Stadium. The following includes, but is not limited to, items that are not allowed into Municipal Stadium:

Alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs, Food items, Beverages (See "Beverages, Bottles and Cans"), Glass bottles or cans, Ice chests or hard-sided coolers, Chairs, Camera tri-pods (See "Camera and Video Equipment" on page 1), Sticks or clubs (including signs attached to sticks), Fireworks, Bullhorns or other noisemakers, Confetti, Animals (except certified services dogs), Beach balls or other inflatables, Bicycles,Skateboards or roller blades, Squirt guns or super soakers, Laser pointers, Weapons of any kind. 

Promotional Items

The San Jose Giants have scheduled a number of promotional days this season. For a list of upcoming promotions and guidelines, please refer to the San Jose Giants Promotional Schedule for complete upcoming promotions. 

The number of promotional items distributed is restricted based on the event (e.g., first 1,000 fans or to fans 12 years and under). Please remember that a ticket does not ensure or entitle the holder to a promotional item on that date and that only one item will be given to each eligible person. From Santa Clara Light Rail Station:

Take the 73 Bus Southbound towards Branham/Snell.

From Tamien Light Rail Station:

Radio Broadcast

All San Jose Giants games are broadcast live on the team's official website, sjgiants.com and on TuneIn. Visit the Radio Broadcast page for compelte details. 

Broadcasts begin 20 minutes prior to first pitch with The Giants Pregame Show. The Giants Pregame Show includes an in-depth preview of the upcoming San Jose game, the latest news from around the California League and an exclusive interview from inside the clubhouse with a player or coach. 

Stay tuned after the game for The Giants Postgame Show with highlights and analysis, a review of the California League scoreboard and a look ahead to future San Jose Giants games.

Every broadcast is also streamed live on your mobile phone through the San Jose Giants "Inside the Park" Mobile App. 

Rain Checks

In the event that 4 ½ innings (5 innings if the visitors are ahead) of a game are not played, your ticket stub may be exchanged for a ticket of equal or lesser value, based on availability, to any remaining regular season home game. Exchanges may take place at the stadium ticket office or via mail. Certain sponsor tickets or special offers may be excluded and will be redeemable only for the designated rain date.

Rain Delays

According to California League Rules, the home team is the sole judge of the playing field conditions, prior to the exchange of lineups. The umpire-in-chief shall be the sole judge as to whether and when play shall be suspended during a game because of unsuitable weather conditions or the unfit condition of the playing field; as to whether and when the play shall be resumed after such suspension; and as to whether and when a game shall be terminated after such suspension. The umpire-in-chief shall at all times try to complete a game. His authority to resume play following one or more suspensions shall be absolute and he shall terminate a game only when there appears to be no possibility of completing the ballgame.

Re-entry

Guests may exit the ballpark at any time; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Guests may only re-enter the stadium after obtaining a re-entry stamp from an attendant located near the exit gates.

Resale of Tickets

The resale of tickets is strictly prohibited on Municipal Stadium premises.

Restrooms

Stadium restrooms are located in the main concourse, along the first base side and along the left field side beyond the City National Futures Club. Please refer to the Municipal Stadium Map

Rules at the Game 

No alcohol (this includes non-alcoholic beer and wine) or illegal drugs may be brought into AT&T Park. Anyone found drinking under the legal age, using illegal drugs, or breaking any other laws, will be subject to immediate ejection and criminal prosecution. Any guest perceived to be in an intoxicated or impaired state may be denied admission to the park.

Municipal Stadium is a Smoke-Free ballpark. Electronic smoking and smoking by vaporization are included in this "Smoke-Free" designation and are prohibited. Guests who fail to comply with Municipal Stadium's No-Smoking policy may be asked to exit the ballpark.

The Giants are proud of the rich diversity of our fan base who cheer us on at Municipal Stadium. It is in this spirit that we urge all fans to be mindful and respectful of each other. Any fan wearing culturally insensitive attire, using obscene or abusive language, engaging in antisocial conduct offensive to those around them or displaying any other offensive behavior is subject to removal from the ballpark. If you observe a fan acting in this manner, please contact Giant Guest Services. Please do not take the matter into your own hands.

Guests entering, or attempting to enter, the playing field, or other areas which they are unauthorized to enter, or who throw (or attempt to throw) objects, with the exception of home run balls, in the stands or onto the field, are subject to ejection and prosecution. Fans interfering while a ball is in play are subject to ejection..

Sealed plastic bottles and soft-sided juice containers containing non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in Municipal Stadium. Unsealed plastic bottles and soft-sided containers will be subject to inspection and may be confiscated. Glass and metal cans are not permitted. Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the ballpark.

Items intended for sale or trade may not be brought onto Municipal Stadium property, including the main parking lot, without a permit or license.

Large bags or containers measuring OVER 16" x 16" x 8" are NOT allowed into the ballpark. All permitted bags, including purses, briefcases, and diaper bags (smaller than 16" x 16" x 8") may be searched before entering the park. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to allow additional time when entering the park. Per MLB guidelines, NO HARD-SIDED coolers will be allowed. Soft-sided coolers are permitted. All bags and containers are subject to search.

Scorecards

Keep track of the game on an official Giants scorecard. Scorecards can be purchased at the program stand at the front of the stadium for just $2 and $1 for Season Ticket Holders. Scorecards also come with a lucky number which provides fans with chances to win great prizes. 

Service Animals

Smoking

In accordance with San Jose Municipal Code Section 9.44.010 this ballpark is a smoke-free facility. In compliance with California League Rules, E-cigarettes are also disallowed.

Speakers Bureau

The San Jose Giants speakers' bureau consists of several members of the San Jose Giants front office. With decades worth of experience in a variety of different capacities, each individual offers unique perspectives and storiess about Giants baseball, the business-side of the operation the club's community outreach efforts and more. In the past, Giants representatives have spoken at: schools, rotaries, social and affinity clubs, charitable fundraisers, universities and more. Store/Shop

The San Jose Giants Dugout Store is the official team store of the San Jose Giants. The Dugout Store is located along the Third Base Side. Strollers

Strollers are allowed into the ballpark. Fold-up strollers should be stored under the seat. Non-folding strollers can be checked at the City National Customer Service Booth. 

Summer Camps

Kids of all experience levels can develope their baseball skills, including baserunning, hitting, throwing mechanics, arm strength, catching and fielding during a San Jose Giants Summer Camp. Each Sumer Camp Series consists of four days of expert instruction, food, fun, and more. Campers also walk away with a variety of perks including a San Jose Giants Summer Camp t-shirt and tickets to a future Giants game. Tailgating

Tailgating is permitted in the Main Parking lot located on Alma Avenue, the parking lot opens two hours prior to game time. All tailgating must be finished 45 minutes prior to game time.

Ticket Scalping

The unauthorized resale of tickets in, on or around Municipal Stadium property is not permitted under any circumstance and is prohibited by law. The Giants, and the security will address any such violation appropriately.

Umbrellas

Umbrellas are permitted for Giants games. However, because of patron safety and sight line considerations umbrellas are not allowed to be open in the seating areas or obstruct other guest's views.

Video Board Messages

The service is $50 per announcement on the video board. For more information about birthday, anniversary and other celebratory messages please contact Ryan Anthony 408.380.4501 or email RyanAnthony@sjgiants.com. Messages must be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the designated game.

VIP Deck

Wheelchair Accessible Seating 

Municipal Stadium is wheelchair accessible. The AMR Wheelchair Accessible Seating is located down the Third Base Line nex to the City National Futures Club. Olease refer to the Municipal Stadium Map

Wi-Fi Network

Free Internet access is available to any fan that brings a smart phone, laptop, tablet, or other Wi-Fi enabled mobile device to the ballpark. The free wireless internet network is SJGiants-Guest and does not require a password. 

Will Call

Guests may pick up "Will Call" tickets at the Stadium Box Office. A photo ID is required of anyone picking up tickets at Will Call, and tickets will only be released to the individual named on the envelope.
