San Jose Giants Host 5th Annual Italian Night July 21

SAN JOSE, CA- On Saturday, July 21 the San Jose Giants bring Italian culture and cuisine to Municipal Stadium for the 5th Annual Italian Night, presented by Sons of Sicily Aiuto Foundation. The entire night will be a celebration of Italian culture with raffles, Italian music and food, vendor booths and giveaways. The evening will feature special Italian food booths including everything from fried zucchini to spaghetti and dessert items like sfingis (Italian doughnuts) and cannolis. In addition, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive drawstring backpacks courtesy of Country Club Villa Apartments and Battaglia Ranch Tree Farm.

"Italian Night is one of the most exciting ballpark events of the entire season." said Juliana Paoli, Chief Marketing Officer of the San Jose Giants. "This is a great opportunity to experience a taste of Italy and its culture while enjoying San Jose Giants baseball."

As part of the festivities the Giants will be wearing special Italian themed jerseys as they take on the Inland Empire 66ers at 5:00 PM. The jerseys will be part of an in-game silent auction where the highest bidder will be able to go on the field following the game and receive their new autographed jersey right off the respective San Jose Giant's back. The proceeds will benefit the Sons of Sicily Aiuto Foundation.
