Jobs Available with the San Jose Giants

SAN JOSE, CA- The San Jose Giants 2013 season has nearly arrived and the organization is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who are committed to providing guests with a positive entertainment experience. This year, all interested job candidates must submit their resume for their desired position(s) via the San Jose Giants TeamWork Online page and also answer all accompanying questions associated with that position. Only applicants who have submitted their resume online will be invited to the team's annual job fair. Anyone interested in a part-time seasonal position on our game day staff must submit their resume online and be invited to come to the stadium for the job fair in order to complete the application and interview process.

Available positions include beverage deck attendant and VIP Deck server, concessions staff, fun zone attendant, program and scorecard vendor, ticket taker, Turkey Mike's BBQ staff, usher, fun zone attendant, merchandise and field staff.

"Spring training is upon us and the start of the 2013 regular season right around the corner," said Juliana Paoli, San Jose Giants Chief Marketing Officer. "After our fourth straight season with more than 200,000 fans coming through the gates at Municipal Stadium, we are extremely excited for the season to begin in April. Our game day positions provide a variety of much needed jobs during our six month season. We encourage everyone, young and young at heart, to apply."

All applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Employees will work a variety of events at Municipal Stadium, including San Jose Giants home games and special events from March through September.

The San Jose Giants begin their 2013 season on Thursday, April 4 at Visalia with the home opener set for Thursday, April 11 against the Rawhide.  The Opening Night Extravaganza will include a postgame fireworks show, 2013 magnet schedule giveaway and more.  The Giants will also feature home games on Mother's Day (May 12), Memorial Day (May 27), Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day (September 2).  On June 18, for the first time ever, Municipal Stadium will host the 2013 California-Carolina League All-Star Game.  Season tickets are available for purchase online at sjgiants.com, over the phone at (408) 297-1435 and in person at the Municipal Stadium Box Office Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
