Monday's Giants-Blaze Game Postponed

Series opener postponed due to power outage; doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday

BAKERSFIELD - Monday's scheduled game between the San Jose Giants and Bakersfield Blaze has been postponed due to a power failure at Sam Lynn Ballpark. The game will be made-up as part of a doubleheader with two seven-inning contests on Wednesday, August 6 beginning at 11:00 AM in Bakersfield. Monday's postponement is the first of the season for the Giants.

The three-game series is now scheduled to begin on Tuesday evening with first pitch at Sam Lynn Ballpark scheduled for 7:30 PM. The entire series can be heard live on sjgiants.com.
