7th Annual Chicken Wing Fest THIS WEEKEND

There's a reason why Buffalo is named the Chicken Wing Capital of the World. And we prove ourselves worthy of the title every year around this time.

That's because it's time once again for the 7th Annual National Buffalo Wing Festival at Dunn Tire Park. For two days, Saturday, August 30 (12 p.m. - 9 p.m.) - Sunday, August 31 (12 p.m. - 7 p.m.), you'll be able to taste all the fantastic varieties of wings that make up one of the world's favorite party food.

And this year's National Buffalo Wing Festival has been ramped up like never before. So, get your wet naps ready for an amazing weekend.

It all begins on noon on Saturday with the annual .5K race to kick off the weekend at 1 p.m. From that point on, you can enjoy great food as cooks from across the country try to perfect the food that we invented! And while you're diving into a plate of wings, there will be wing eating contests, a sauce off, cooking demonstrations and more to take in!

And then there's the music! This year, a beer and wine tent will be set up in the parking lot just outside of Dunn Tire Park. There, fans will hear great live music from Hit N' Run, Terry Buchwald, Pirate Dreams, Scott Celani, The Navy Rock Band, and Chris Burke with Joe & John DeMasi. Tickets are just $5 and children under eight years old are admitted free. You can purchase your admission early at the Dunn Tire Park Box Office (M-F, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) or at the gate on Saturday and/or Sunday.
