A tradition returns: the 25th Annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration is Wednesday!

So, the KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration is now a single-admission doublehaeder... Here's what you need to know!
-First pitch of game one is 4:00 p.m.
-Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and you can enter the ballpark at any time.
-The Bisons and IronPigs will play two 7-inning games with a 30-minute break in-between.
-The doubleheader is 'Single-Admission,' meaning you only need one ticket for both games.
-All existing July 3rd game tickets are still valid and don't need to be re-issued/exchanged.
-The signature BPO concert will follow game two and remain unchanged (scheduled to start at dusk).
-We're still going to have the Largest Fireworks Show of the Season
-We are going to have even more fun now!!!

It's the best Western New York summer tradition. On Wednesday, July 3 it will be time once again to gather at Sahlen Field for the KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Largest Fireworks Show of the Season.
Now in its milestone 25th season, this one-night celebration has been seen by nearly a half a million fans since its debut in 1995. And with the return of the Maestro Paul Ferington, a new concert set list, a pair of giveaways and a red-hot Bisons team on the field, this year's event is sure to be bigger and better than ever.

Giveaways

We have two awesome giveaways for fans at this year's event. Our great event partner KeyBank has 3,000 Logo Tote Bags to give away. Just head over to their information table on the main concourse (by the Swan Gate) to receive this great item.
The Bisons will also be handing out Mini American flags to the first 10,000 visitors to Won Celery Place on the first base side of the main concourse.

Social Media Contests

We'll be giving away even more prizes once the game gets going. Follow the Bisons on twitter (@BuffaloBisons) and facebook (/BuffaloBisons) during the event for your chance to win seat upgrades and Key Possibilities gift cards.
There will also be a special Independence Eve Snapchat filter for you to share your best ballpark photos with your friends.

Post Game Concert

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will take the stage short after the Bisons game two against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Led by the Maestro Paul Ferington, who returns for his 19th July 3rd concert, this year's show will once again combine great patriotic classics and tributes to celebrate pop culture milestones. Included in this year's set list are RESPECT (honoring the life of Aretha Franklin), 2001: A Space Odyssey (50th anniversary of the moon landing), Lion King (25th Anniversary) and Toy Story (20th anniversary of the movie sequel) as well as a Beatles Medley.
Joining the BPO this year to sing along will be the award-winning performers from Spot On Entertainment, a New York City-based concert production company.

Fireworks

As the BPO marches through all of our favorite patriotic songs, the Largest Fireworks Show of the Season will begin. Nothing says the Independence Day holiday like fireworks, so come see an amazing show a night early!

Ballpark Gates/Security

Ballpark Gates will open at 3:30 p.m., and fans can enter at any time after that.
All patrons will have to walk through metal detectors upon entering the ballpark. To ease your entry into the ballpark, please allow for a few additional minutes to enter and review the ballpark's carry-in/security policybefore arriving.

I bought a BPO Pack. Where do I redeem my hot dog and soda coupon?

Avoid lines at the concession stands and use the Food Coupon Redemption Centers. You can get your Sahlen's Hot Dog and Coca-Cola soft drink in the concourse area near Section 118 (first base side), Section 121 (third base side) by Won Celery Place (home plate) and on the club level.
Fans also looking to purchase hot dogs and sodas can also use those quicker lines.

Stars & Stripes Caps

The Bisons will once again be wearing a special Stars & Stripes Cap, designed by the New Era Cap Co. You can purchase your own caps at the event at either the Batter's Box Gift Shop or the Bisons Team Shop. We've also put a limited supply of the caps on sale in the Bisons.com Online Shop.
Proceeds of all sales benefit MiLB Charities Stars & Stripes Fund.
