Ballpark Brew Bash set for Sept. 15

The Buffalo Bisons are excited to announce the return of the 3rd Annual Ballpark Brew Bash, brought to you by Consumer's Beverages, on September 15, 2012 at Coca-Cola Field (4-8 p.m.). This unique event allows craft beer fans to taste some of the most exclusive brews from across the country and the world while touring the ballpark home of the Buffalo Bisons.  Proceeds from the event will benefit Team Cure of the Roswell Cancer Center.

Over 50 breweries and 100 unique beers will be featured at this year's "Bash". Breweries will be set up throughout Coca-Cola Field beginning on the field and ending with at musical themed area with such beers as Purple Haze, Dream Weaver, Hazed and Infused, Rye of the Tiger and more.

All of the breweries attending the event will be announced daily on bisons.com.

Tickets
Tickets are $25 prior to the event and $35 at the door on September 15. Your ticket includes admission to the event, a souvenir tasting glass, program, and 20 tasting tickets. One tasting ticket is good for one 3 oz. beer sample at any of the brewery tents on throughout the ballpark. Additional tasting tickets can be purchased at the event for $1.00 each. Admission to the event does not include food or beverages.

There will also be a VIP Area located in Pettibones Grille. A limited quantity of tickets for the VIP Area will be available for $60. This special section of the Brew Bash will feature over 20 hand-selected hard to find brews. Pettibones Grille offers a spectacular view of the Ballpark and will provide a great setting for VIP guests to sit, relax and enjoy the event with complimentary food. The VIP ticket also allows you to visit all the other brewery tents in the different areas of the Ballpark.

Entertainment
There will be live music played throughout the night and a beer area pouring music-themed beers. Headstone Heat, a Buffalo, NY company that makes different hot sauces made with fresh ingredients, will be hosting a Chili cook-off in an area of the Ballpark and have samplings of its sauces during the event.

Brew Bash will also feature a pig roast during the evening, hosted by BW's Smokin' Barrels Barbeque.
Consumer's Beverages will host its 1st Annual Consumer's Beverages Homebrew Competition in coordination with the Niagara Association of Homebrewers. The award ceremony will acknowledge and reward the breweries in attendance for their beers based on different standards of criteria.

Conditions
The event is handicap accessible and outside vendor areas will be tented in the event of inclement weather.

No one under the age of 21 will be admitted and legal identification will be required to enter. Also, children, strollers, and pets will not be allowed to enter.

Designated drivers are encouraged to attend and will not be charged the full price of admission.
