Senators Announce 2026 Opening Day Roster
HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 31, 2026) – The Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, announced their 2026 Opening Day Roster Tuesday. HARRISBURG, Pa. (March 31, 2026) – The Harrisburg Senators, Double-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, announced their 2026 Opening Day Roster Tuesday.
Of the 29 players on the roster, 17 are returning to Harrisburg. The roster features 15 players originally drafted or signed by the Nationals, seven Free Agents, five players acquired in trades, and two Rule 5 Draft picks.
The Opening Day roster also showcases five players ranked in MLB Pipeline’s top-30 Nationals prospects. INF Seaver King leads the list as the Nationals #7 prospect. King returns for his second Double-A season. In 80 games with Harrisburg in 2025, King hit .233 with three home runs, 26 RBIs, and 18 stolen bases.
Other top prospects include LHP Alex Clemmey (#11), OF Sam Petersen (#22), RHP Eriq Swan (#26), and C Caleb Lomavita (#27).

The Senators open the 2026 season this Thursday, April 2 (6:00 p.m.), against the DoubleA affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Altoona Curve, at PNG Field in Altoona.
Opening Day at FNB Field is Tuesday, April 7 (6:30 p.m.) against the Double-A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, the Akron RubberDucks.
