Tulsa (12-7, 58-30) plated three runs in the first inning against Aidan Curry with four hits. Then, Frisco (10-9, 49-38) got a first-inning RBI single from Arturo Disla to make it 3-1.
In the fifth inning, the Drillers extended their lead to 4-1 on a Mike Sirota sacrifice fly, but Disla drove in two more with a two-out single, cutting the deficit to 4-3.
That score held until the eighth inning, when Max Wagner launched a leadoff solo home run against Christian Suarez (5-3) to tie the game at four. In the top of the ninth, however, De Paula drilled a two-run shot off Zach Bryant (1-2) for the lead back and Antonio Knowles notched his third save for Tulsa in the bottom half.
