Reno, Nev. – Left-handed reliever Andrew Saalfrank continues to be a key cog within the Arizona Diamondbacks bullpen as he is one of 19 former Reno Aces to earn a place on the club’s 2023 World Series roster as announced by the D-backs on Friday before Game One against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field.
Following a Game Seven victory over the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLCS, the D-backs will play in their second World Series in franchise history. The club’s lone World Series championship came in 2001, defeating the New York Yankees in seven games.
Saalfrank is also among the 14 members of the BLC-Nine to play in Reno in 2023 and continues to be a significant component within the Arizona Diamondbacks World Series roster.

During the 2023 campaign, the Fort Wayne, Indiana, native saw action between two levels within the D-backs organization (Double-A Amarillo and Triple-A Reno), including a 4-2 record and one save with a 2.35 ERA in 23 appearances out of the Aces bullpen.
Since his promotion to Arizona on September 5th, the 6-foot-3, left-hander tallied three holds and did not allow an earned run in 10 appearances. In the post-season, the 26-year-old has made eight appearances out of the Diamondbacks bullpen.
