Johnny Cueto to Rehab in San Jose Monday, July 31

The San Francisco Giants have announced that RHP Johnny Cueto is scheduled to join the San Jose Giants on Monday, July 31 at Municipal Stadium. Cueto is rehabbing a blister injury on his right hand.
Johnny Cueto, currently in his tenth big-league season, signed as a free agent with the San Francisco Giants after the 2015 season. Cueto was named an All-Star with the Giants in 2016, and has compiled a 24-12 record in his two seasons in San Francisco. For his career, Cueto is 120-82, with a 3.32 ERA and 1,472 strikeouts to his name.
Cueto is scheduled to start as the San Jose Giants host the Visalia Rawhide at Municipal Stadium starting at 7:00 PM. The game kicks off a seven-game homestand which includes Latin Heritage Night on Friday, August 4, complete with fireworks and another 75^th Anniversary of Baseball Celebration at Muni on Saturday, August 5, which will feature the return of more than 20 former players from multiple decades.
