Media Guidelines

CREDENTIALS: All working members of the media are required to have a press pass at all times. Requests for credentials must be made at least 24 hours prior to game time. Credentials will only be issued to legitimate working media and will be made available at the RoughRiders front office. Season credentials are issued to news agencies that cover the RoughRiders on a daily basis. The credential is property of the Frisco RoughRiders and the RoughRiders reserve the right to refuse and/or evoke credentials from individuals and organizations at any time.

In order to receive a credential, all members of the media must sign and deliver a waiver form that can be found at the ballpark or online. A credential will not be administered without this form first being signed and turned in to the Frisco RoughRiders media relations staff.

Media credentials issued by the Frisco RoughRiders are deemed as nontransferable personal licenses and must be clearly displayed at all times. The credential provides evidence that the bearer has been authorized to enter as a working member of the media. The bearer of RoughRiders media credentials: 1) agrees to careful search and inspection of prohibited items and/or confiscation of prohibited items; 2) agrees to comply with all ballpark and Frisco RoughRiders rules and regulations; 3) assumes all risks and dangers incidental to attendance at the events, whether occurring prior to, during or after the events; 4) understands that the requesting of autographs or equipment from/presenting materials to players, coaches and special guests is strictly prohibited and that such requests will result in ejection and confiscation of credential.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Photographers will receive a pass that will allow for photography throughout the stadium, provided it does not interfere with the action on the field or with a fan’s view of the game. Photographers may only photograph from the stands, the camera wells, the berm or around the stadium. Photographers are not allowed in the dugouts or in the clubhouse.

INTERVIEWS: Players and coaches will be made available for interviews at the request of the RoughRiders media relations staff. All interview requests must be coordinated and cleared with the RoughRiders media relations staff prior to arrival at the ballpark.

PRESS BOX: Members of the media may access the RoughRiders press box by taking the elevator or stairs located directly behind home plate. Game notes, team stats, starting lineups, starting pitcher day-to-day stats, rosters, transactions and other pertinent information will be made available to the media prior to and during each game in the press box. Wireless internet access is available.

THIS CREDENTIAL IS A REVOCABLE LICENSE AND MAY BE REVOKED AT ANY TIME WITHOUT CAUSE.

Each individual or entity signing for or using a credential, including his/her/its employers and employees (each, a “Bearer”) for games, exhibitions, workouts, activities and events associated with Minor League Baseball (“MiLB”) (“Frisco RoughRiders Baseball Games”) agrees to the terms & conditions available at www.mlb.com/tac (the “Agreement”).
