Baseball history comes alive as the Frisco RoughRiders pay tribute to the Dallas Black Giants, a barnstorming Negro Leagues team. For select games over the last three seasons, the RoughRiders have taken the field in Dallas Black Giants-inspired uniforms, honoring a team that thrilled fans throughout the early 1900s and into the 1920s and 30s with its exciting, high-energy style of play. The Black Giants left an enduring mark on the game and featured a remarkable roster of talent, including future Hall of Famer Ernie Banks, whose baseball journey included time with the iconic Dallas club.
