About Quesos de Frisco
Copa de la Diversión," or "Fun Cup," is a season-long Minor League Baseball event series specifically designed to embrace the culture and values that resonate most with local Hispanic or Latino communities. The Frisco RoughRiders will play a select number of games during the 2024 season as Quesos de Frisco.
In a fun spin on the wonderful place we call home and to celebrate the rich Mexican roots in North Texas, the RoughRiders take on the Quesos de Frisco identity. The Mexican cheese queso fresco, or “fresh cheese”, is known for its pairing with a cold drink and a powerful punch, much like Frisco baseball. Too cheesy? Yeah, we know.

En un giro diverdido en el marvilloso lugar que llamos hogar y para celebrar las ricas raices mexicanas en el norte de texas, los RoughRiders adoptan la identidad de quesos de frisco. el queso mexicano fresco or “fresh cheese” es conocido por su complemento con una bebida fria y un poderoso golpe, muy parecido al beisbol de frisco. ¿demasiado cursi?
