SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (April 17, 2018) - The Frisco RoughRiders, Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, lost 7-5 in a back-and-forth battle with the Springfield Cardinals Tuesday afternoon at Hammons Field.
BIG MOMENTS

  • The Cardinals hit back-to-back homers twice Tuesday, registering the second set in a four-run seventh inning that put the Cardinals ahead for good.
  • The Riders fought back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2, taking a 4-3 lead in the seventh on a bases-loaded walk from Luis La O .
  • Michael De Leon and Michael O'Neill each reached base safely four times for the Riders, combining to drive in two runs and score three in the defeat.
