SUMMARY

The Harrisburg Senators fell to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 4-0 after a nearly two-hour rain delay Wednesday afternoon at Delta Dental Stadium. New Hampshire opened the scoring with two runs in the 2^nd inning and tacked on single runs in the 6^th and 7^th. The Senators twice loaded the bases with two outs in the 1^st and 5^th innings but could not score.

THE BIG PLAY

With runners on 2^nd and 3^rd and one out in the 2^nd inning, New Hampshire’s Rainer Nunez gave the Fisher Cats a 2-0 lead by driving home both runners with a single to center field.

FILIBUSTERS

Robert Hassell III extended his on-base streak to 21 games and stole his 9^th base, going 2-for-3 with a walk… Orlando Ribalta threw a scoreless 8^th inning to extend his scoreless streak to 10 innings… The Senators’ got the leadoff batter on-base to begin four innings, but could not capitalize… The Senators’ bullpen had not allowed a home run in their last 22 innings pitched before New Hampshire’s 6^th-inning leadoff home run by Zach Britton… The Senators were held scoreless for the first time since opening night on April 5^th against Erie.
