The timeless quote from "Field of Dreams" film resonates much deeper on a certain Sunday in June. Several teams around Minor League Baseball paid tribute to that moment by bringing out fans and their fathers to have a catch (or play catch, however you prefer to say) on the field before the game.

Take a look that and all the other ways Minor League teams honored dads everywhere.

Of course, Triple-A Durham had to play it that way. Just try not to tear up while watching the short video released by the Rays affiliate.

They weren't the only ones, though. Fans enjoyed that trend on the field in Omaha (where the Triple-A Royals affiliate won its 11th straight game) ...

... in Double-A Amarillo (D-backs) ...

... in Double-A Birmingham (White Sox) ...

... and Double-A Springfield (Cardinals) too!

Vancouver Canadians broadcaster Tyler Zickel continued a tradition he started years ago with another team by bringing his father, Mark, into the booth for a couple innings during the High-A Blue Jays affiliate's game. Full story

Things got a little more ... aerobic in High-A Fort Wayne, where dads participated in some rhythmic gymnastics before the game. An absolutely stunning performance, if you ask us.

The Padres affiliate also brought out a bunch of padres for a catch on the field!

This might be the most wholesome tribute. Stefan Caray, son of St. Louis Cardinals broadcaster Chip Caray, sent this special message to thank his father. Stefan and twin brother, Chris, man the Sod Poodles booth in Amarillo.

The Double-A Hartford Yard Goats (Rockies) honored the fathers of their players with a special tweet. GOATs on and off the field, indeed.

High-A South Bend (Cubs) is here to remind us that we're here to celebrate ALL the dads out there, especially those fighting prostate and colorectal cancer.

Come on, you really thought we wouldn't get another Padres affiliate in here? (Cause "padre" is "father" in Spanish, of course.) Shoutout to Single-A Lake Elsinore.

We couldn't have said it any better than Triple-A Memphis (Cardinals). We love players who are also dads!

We're not crying, you're crying! Triple-A Iowa put out this wonderful video on Cubs infielder (and dad) David Bote.

High-A Lake County (Guardians) brought a special guest out to their game ... everyone, meet Skipper's dad!

Double-A Binghamton (Mets) asked some personnel for their best dad jokes, and they all delivered.

Triple-A Buffalo (Blue Jays), Single-A Fredericksburg (Nationals) and Amarillo rounded up players and coaches to deliver nice Father's Day messages to the dads who make it all possible.

The Single-A Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Dodgers), Triple-A Lehigh Valley (Phillies), Double-A Arkansas (Mariners) and Double-A Richmond (Giants) gave some dads love with good old-fashioned appreciation tweets.
