Nash Walker Promoted to Reno Aces Content Creator & Broadcaster for 2024 Season

RENO, Nev. – Reno Aces fans will experience a familiar voice in the broadcasting booth following the announcement of Nash Walker's promotion to the franchise’s fourth broadcaster in team history today. Walker served as the club’s secondary broadcaster last season as well as communications coordinator.

Walker, 23, becomes the face and voice of Aces-related content featured on the club’s social media platforms and website. Additionally, he will serve as the club’s Broadcaster & Content Creator for the 2024 season, where he will be the lead play-by-play voice for all 150 Reno Aces games heard on RenoAces.com, MiLB.tv, Nevada Sports Net, and Bally’s Sports Plus App.

“We are excited for Nash in his new role with the team as the voice of the Aces. This is more than just a lineup change; it’s a home run for the community,” said Reno Aces President Eric Edelstein. “He is an amazing storyteller with an undying love for the game, and his voice will not only echo throughout Greater Nevada Field but resonate in the hearts of every Aces fan across Northern Nevada.”

The Plymouth, Minnesota native enters his second season with the Aces. Before his start in Reno, he hosted and produced nearly 1,000 episodes of Locked On Twins under TEGNA from 2019-23 and was the broadcaster for the Palm Springs Power of the Cal Summer League.

A graduate of the University of Missouri, his first broadcast will occur in Las Vegas as the Reno Aces battle their Silver State rivals, the Las Vegas Aviators, Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, on Friday, March 29th.

He will make his first home broadcast in the Aces home opener on Tuesday, April 2nd, when the Sacramento River Cats, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, visit Greater Nevada Field at 2:05 p.m. PDT.
